Wilson joined the IBM while living in Florida, moving to Wichita
approximately ten years later. He was personable and active and soon made
many friends in the area, becoming President of the Ring in 1957. He made
one trip with us to one of the early Oklahoma Cavalcades.
His profession was associated with the Oil business and required him to transfer out of state; he didn’t
write letters so we didn’t know where he was until 1970 when his name was listed with the Order of Merlin
giving his location as Raytown, Missouri. Another long period of mystery when he was listed again in the Order
of Merlin-Excalibur, following the Oakland Convention, now giving Bartlesville as his home. Such easy clues
allowed us to track him down.
