Ron was bitten by the magic bug as a teenager in high school but never formally worked at developing the talent of entertaining until recently when he met "Magic" Melton Francis.

With Francis' help and interest Ron has started to practice sleight-of-hand and work with silks and other paraphernalia. He has been introduced to magicians in the Wizards of Wichita who are also members of the IBM so he is off to an exciting beginning. He has made application for membership in both organizations, is getting acquainted with everyone and learning what 'magic' is all about.

Ron said "I am honored to have been given the opportunity to be entertained and educated by some of the world's greatest magicians."

Those kind words are flattering; however, Ring 47 was selected FIRST in recognition of it having met the exacting standards set by the IBM Board of Trustees for a high quality Ring during the first two years of its existence, 1993-1994. So, it appears that Ron made a very good selection; we, certainly, are happy to have you too.
