IBM No. 18530-M

Frank's interest in magic began, like many others, by ordering a catalog from Dallas' Douglas Magicland,
after seeing an ad in a popular magazine. He was around ten years old. Later, he found that "Regow's
House of Enchantment," operated by Jim Swoger and Pittsburgh's only magic shop, was practically around
the corner from his house. Frank worked there part-time during his high school years and learned
much from Mr. Swoger. Frank also joined the IBM and SAM. In his college years Frank performed some shows,
and spent a summer as a magic clown on a children's excursion boat.

Later he moved to Boston, and found Ray Goulet's Magic Art Studio and spent many happy Saturday afternoons
there, and discovered a fascination for collecting and the history of magic. Frank subsequently joined the
New England Magic Collectors Association and the national Magic Collectors' Association.

He has written a biographical article on Ray Goulet which appeared in the Linking Ring, the IBM's national
periodical, as well as two other cover stories for the SAM's M-U-M. He has also written articles for the New
England Magic Collectors' publication, "The Yankee Magic Collector."

When Frank moved to Wichita a few years back he was delighted to find such a friendly club in the Wizards
of Wichita, and the interest many members have in the history of the art of magic. He's also delighted that
Wichita has a real "brick and mortar" magic dealer in Joe Steven's Magic Emporium
